Why Cho Kyuhyun is my bias.
Why I (am madly in) love (with) Kyuhyun. ^_^
Ahem~
Well, as you may know, Kyuhyun was the first member of Super Junior that captured my attention. The moment I laid eyes on Kyuhyun in Super Girl (the second SJ MV I ever saw after Rokkugo), I was sold. At first, of course, it was almost entirely superficial; I thought he had a cute face and pretty eyes. But his voice. That voice. I could not, for the life of me, understand why none of my friends were madly in love with him. I was horrified that one of them had already claimed him and I’d never get the chance to call him my bias. BUT TO MY SURPRISE, not one of them even knew his name or anything and I was just like O___O HOW.
But anyway, that second night after I discovered Super Junior, I watched about 5 hours worth of Kyuhyun cuts courtesy of Princekyu and THAT is when I knew I loved him. It wasn’t just a physical attraction anymore. His wit and charm drew me in like nothing else. I noticed he didn’t speak often, but when he did… it was perfect. Everything, from the content of his remarks to his delivery was p-e-r-f-e-c-t. He was the perfect balance of sarcastic and sweet. He’s a rose, my favorite flower, gorgeous and sweet, but if you approach it in the wrong manner, you will get pricked. Furthermore, I noticed that he was often very shy and got embarrassed easily and this fascinated me. Why, why would this man, who was amazing at virtually everything ever feel the need to be timid or shy? His voice is straight from heaven, and yet he was nervous whenever he was asked to sing outside the context of a performance. He is stunning and flawless, and yet he looks down and blushes whenever he is complimented on his appearance. He says the funniest and most witty things, and yet he almost always looks as though he has spoken out of turn. But somehow, that made him that much more appealing to me. I am not attracted to those whom are pompous, bombastic, arrogant or cocky; I find those qualities to be an absolute turn-off, both in friendships and potential boyfriends. So this boy, this wonderful, special, and talented boy, he captured my heart through his personality, he was everything I ever wanted and more, even if I didn’t realize it explicitly at the time.
But it doesn’t end there. Ohhh, no. I then learned of his high intelligence, and I was floored. I mean, obviously I knew he was bright, for not just anyone could come up with the snarky remarks, but I wasn’t aware of his mathematical prowess, or extremely impressive IQ score. I value intelligence.. more than most things and I cannot tell you what an amazing added bonus Kyuhyun’s mind was. I was already head over heels for him, and this just sent me over the top.
Anyway, next, I should address his relationships with his members. He rarely, and I mean rarely, seeks attention. And yet, the others are always so keen on offering him their attention. They love messing with him and the little smile that starts to creep through his calm demeanor might be the most heartwarming thing in the entire world. (I’m not even going to get into Qmi, because I could write a separate novel on that). I love that whenever it is he takes the initiative and addresses another member, albeit infrequently, his eyes light up with excitement, like he’s really eager to share whatever it is his brilliant mind has come up with, or whatever conclusion he has drawn. He makes every second count.
Now we should move onto his gaming obsession. Like. Okay. Kyuhyun is an idol. He is gorgeous. He is talented. He is PERFECT. And yet, he has the NERDIEST hobby in the history of the world. And yet, that only enhances his attractiveness. He isn’t afraid to engage in what popular society dubs as “geeky”. It makes him happy and he does not hesitate to partake in such an activity. And what’s more, he’s good at StarCraft. Amazing, even. He is like.. undefeated champion of some region or something. HE’S JUST SO GOOD AT EVERYTHING.
Hmm, voice or appearance now? Let’s go with appearance. Alright so, I guess we can start at the top and work our way down? I’ve loved every hairstyle Kyuhyun has ever had, because his hair just looks good no matter what. (I’ve even warmed up to his short hair now that it’s not so.. oppressive now). From his natural black to his GORGEOUS, AMAZING PLATINUM BLONDE, Kyuhyun has always looked good. His hair is perfect for running your fingers through it, I must admit. It’s just so soft looking.. ;A; And his forehead. You said yourself he has the best forehead and it’s true. His forehead is just so wonderful; I can’t even put it into words. And the eyebrows that rest on that forehead are like.. the prettiest eyebrows I’ve ever seen. They point slightly near the outside, by the temple, and it denotes his sarcastic air, but the graceful glide toward inner portion of his eyebrow exemplifies his sweetness. I just really love his eyebrows, okay? And, okay, those eyes… those deep, chestnut eyes. The way they are shaped is so unique; his eye corners are the most mesmerizing things ever. They’re large and I love the way they glisten when he sings and the way they roll when he’s sarcastic and the way they shine when he speaks and the way they close when he laughs. And plus he has such long and luscious lashes, what’s not to love about that? Onto his nose. His nose is so strong and yet so soft.. if that makes sense? I love the creases his nostrils make, they give off an air of cuteness n____n but the bridge of his nose is rather thick? Which exudes strength to me, I don’t know. BUT YES YES YES HIS LIPS NOW. Kyuhyun’s lips are full of nectar from heaven or something, I don’t know. They are thick, but not too thick. And the shape of them.. I’ve never seen two more perfectly shaped lips in my entire life. They’re probably the most kissable lips throughout all of history. And the way they thin out slightly when he smiles.. :’) Also, his teeth are important to note because they’re so straight with not dental assistance and they’re also pearly white<3 His chin is absolutely PRECIOUS and he forgets to shave little patches on it a lot and I find that really endearing as well. ;~; AND HIS ADAM’S APPLE. HIS ADAM’S APPLE IS GORGEOUS AND BEAUTIFUL AND IT MAKES ME FEEL SAFE, AND I KNOW THAT’S CRAZY BUT I DO NOT CARE. I LOVE IT.
Now away from his face and onto his body. His arms are rather deceptive, because they’re really toned but you wouldn’t be able to tell unless you saw the arm bared. He has gorgeous pectoral muscles as well, although we’ve only ever gotten a glimpse of them, his little tummy, too ;~; And okay, he’s got a fantastic butt. Like slfkdfj;sdfkjs. And his THIGHS. BEST THIGHS EVER. They’re thick and strong and wonderful. AND. HIS. FINGERS. THEY ARE SO BENDY AND SO LONG AND SO SLENDER AND JUST SO SO SO WONDERFUL. BEST FINGERS EVER. RAAAA.
Okay, I’m really anxious to talk about his voice now. Kyuhyun’s voice is like a chorus of angels. It’s like the falling of rain or anything sweet or pleasant in this world. But his voice isn’t even of this world. It’s like some ethereal music. He sings so effortlessly and yet produces the most enrapturing sounds..
Just. I love him. My entire body reacts to him. My heart, my mind, everything. He makes me happier than anyone else and I just want him to be happy and well always. ;~; <3
